Not happy about bathtime (Taken with instagram)
A car veered out of their lane and hit our car so hard that we were lifted in the air, but thankfully we did not flip over or anything. The driver was remorseful/worried at first but once he saw that we were okay.. Well his story changed.
I sat in the back of a cop car today telling the officer what happened, and apparently it is very different from the other drivers account. Because of this, the fault can’t be placed on anyone… and we might be held partially responsible for something that was completely out of the blue and not our fault. I’ve never seen anyone drive like that before..
I’m feeling very weird and bitter. It’s put me in a big funk..

Didn’t See That Coming of the Day: Jason Russell, co-founder of the controversial nonprofit Invisible Children and the star of its ultra-viral fundraising campaign video KONY2012, was arrested yesterday in the San Diego neighborhood of Pacific Beach for masturbating in public while under the influence.
The San Diego Police Department says Russell, 33, was taken into custody after he was caught masturbating in public and vandalizing cars. Lt. Andra Brown also noted that he was under the influence, but did not identify the substance.
His overall behavior was said to have been “Very strange.”

UPDATE: Invisible Children has just released the following statement concerning Russell’s public display of self-affection:
Jason Russell was unfortunately hospitalized yesterday suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, and malnutrition. He is now receiving medical care and is focused on getting better. The past two weeks have taken a severe emotional toll on all of us, Jason especially, and that toll manifested itself in an unfortunate incident yesterday. Jason’s passion and his work have done so much to help so many, and we are devastated to see him dealing with this personal health issue. We will always love and support Jason, and we ask that you give his entire family privacy during this difficult time.

I’ve been obsessing over these Milly bags lately!!
I want to get the one in black, or nude, and i’ve been fighting with my conscience about whether it is justifiable for me to buy it (with a pricetag at $485 CDN not including shipping/handling/taxes/duties). It almost certainly isn’t justifiable but they’re so nice!! What’s a girl to do?
Dear Stranger, by Shizuka Yokomizo
For this 1998-2000 series of portraits, photographer Shizuka Yokomizo left several anonymous letters on the doorsteps of random ground floor apartments that read:
“Dear Stranger,
I am an artist working on a photographic project which involves people I do not know…. I would like to take a photograph of you standing in your front room from the street in the evening.”
The letter specified a certain ten-minute period during which the artist would approach, take the picture, and slip back into the darkness. She would only reveal her identity once her subjects received a print and contact information (so that they could let her know if they objected to their portrait being exhibited).
Yokomizo made sure that when the photos were taken, the light would be too dark outside to see her — it would only allow her subjects to see their own reflections in the window they were looking out of.

Pod Race of the Day: Participants in a whale-watching expedition launched from Dana Wharf in Dana Point, California, were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime sight: A 2,000-strong dolphin pod playing “race you to the deep end” with the boat.
Either that, or they were getting ready to ditch this planet and we should all be on the lookout for a fleet of Vogon spaceships.
